War winding down in Iraq, going stronger than ever in Afghanistan, Libya in limbo and as we have a terrible bout of spring season weather guess what? Yes lets send aide to Egypt and other Muslim countries who (mostly) hate us. Methinks maybe we could take a small lesson from isolationism like we practiced at times throughout our short history. I am not suggesting we cut off the world but lets take care of our own first eh?
It is pretty scary to wonder who will end up on top in the Arab countries at the end of this. BTW the last episode of 'Outside Magazine' had a great article on Yemen. It was started as a travel article by design but due to the unrest that the journalist was there for it accidentally gets involved in the issues there. Surprisingly, Yemen seems mostly pro-American but as anywhere in the Muslim lands, there are those that would rather chop your head off for being American or some other form of non believing infidel... what are ya gonna do?
Pro-American until we'ved served our purpose to them. Then they'll do whatever it takes to milk us dry.
